Not Your Nana's Bees' Knees

A lavender scented modern take on the Prohibition era gin, honey and lemon cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C honey
  • 1/4 C water
  • 1 tsp dried lavender blossoms
  • 4 oz gin
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 4 oz lavender honey syrup

Instructions

  1. To make lavender honey syrup: combine honey, water and lavender and bring to a simmer. Let the mixture steep for 30 minutes then strain.

  2. To make cocktail: Combine gin, lemon juice and lavender honey syrup in an ice filled cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into coupe or martini glasses.
